Political Ideologies

Libertarian (Classical Liberal)
A believer in a political doctrine that emphasizes individual liberty and a lack of governmental regulation and oversight both in matters of the economy ('free market') and in personal behavior where no one's rights are being violated or threatened.

Left (Liberal)
A liberal (also leftist) is someone who rejects logical and biblical standards, often for self-centered reasons. There are no coherent liberal standards; often a liberal is merely someone who craves attention, and who uses many words to say nothing. Liberalism began as a movement for individual liberties, but today is increasingly statist, and in Europe even socialistic. Possibly the most accurate description of a modern liberal can be found at http://www.conservapedia.com/Liberal.

Centrist (Moderate)
Centrists promote moderate policies which lie between different political extremes. Most commonly, this is visualized as part of the one-dimensional political spectrum of left-right politics, with centrism landing in the middle between left-wing politics and right-wing politics.

Right (Conservative)
Conservatives agree with most of these principles: belief in God, morality, capitalism, anti-communism, American exceptionalism, a strong military, smaller federal government, and lower taxes.

Statist (Big Government)
Statists hold an economic position that includes a major state role in directing the economy, either directly through state-owned enterprises and other types of machinery of government, or indirectly through economic planning. They may also believe in the political philosophy that sovereignty is vested not in the people but in the national state, and that all individuals and associations exist only to enhance the power, the prestige, and the well-being of the state.
